niris.org is the complete web-based solution for managing
a Nightline Rota. By combining an intelligent Rota with a Volunteer
Directory, a File Repository, and a comprehensive Contact system, niris.org
is everything a Rota Secretary could hope for.
Designed in conjunction with Sheffield Nightline, niris.org
boasts the following functions:
- Rota – encourages volunteers to signup for
the most appropriate duty and then texts members who may be be able
to signup at late notice.
- Directory – gives each volunteer space for
personal details and a photograph.
- Contact – allows your members to stay in
touch with each other and your committee. Both e-mails and texts can
be sent directly from niris.org.
- File Repository – multi-user level permissions
allow files to be shared by all those who need to see them: publish
minutes, policies and your constitution.

Free trial signups will be available until the National Nightline AGM on the 9th March 2003. All exisiting trial accounts will expire two months after this date! So signup now for free use until May.

We are currently in negotiations with National Nightline to provide niris.org to all Universities. National Nightline and niris.org are working to provide the best possible value service for all who choose to use it.

niris.org goes live for Sheffield Nightline – the first Nightline to employ niris.org to transform its rota and contact systems.
The launch was described by the Sheffield Nightline Rota Secretary as the "most exciting day of any Rota Secretary's life".
